Pine Tree SPAAMFAA was organized in 2003, by a group of people who have the same interest in preserving and protecting antique fire trucks and saving fire history. SPAAMFAA stands for Society for the Preservation & Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America. There are many chapters of SPAAMFAA throughout the country. Pine Tree SPAAMFAA is the chapter from Maine. We have a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and 5 trustees, we about 40 members, which include members and fire departments. We normally meet once a month in fire stations throughout the state. Anyone who has in interest in joining you are more than welcome.
